Located in the historic Le Suquet district of Cannes, way up on the hill, and an easy walk (downhill from property) to the Rue de Suquet which has many restaurants. Convenient to the Vieux Port terminals which go to Nice, St Tropez, Monaco, and the Lerins Islands. The key dropbox is an easy walk from the property, but if you're driving, it may be complicated to get the keys (there is a parking garage nearby the keybox I suggest going directly to it). The property itself is fairly well appointed and spacious with a full garage spot that easily fit our BMW Series 2 crossover (four doors with hatchback). The apartment is quiet at night even with a lot of tourists still roaming the area. The master bedroom is spacious with two single beds pushed together, and there is a second bedroom with a camp bed and a single bed. There are two shower areas, but one smaller bathroom. The upstairs living and dining area is spacious with panoramic windows. The nearby Place de la Castre provides fantastic instagrammable views of the city at the iconic "CANNES" sign. There is a nearby mini-mart on Rue de Pre that opens early in the morning for all your needs, and a 24 hour automat at Expressmarket on Place Bernard Cornut Gentille. The apartment is located in a pedestrian district that is gated by bollards that raise and lower. There is no automatic device provided to open/close the gates. Exiting is not a problem, the gates open when you approach them and pause. However, entering requires speaking to someone (in French), and providing enough information that they will know that there is a garage waiting for you on the other side to park your car in (street parking is generally prohibited for non-commercial vehicles, except short periods). The first time that I tried entering the district I was unable to adequately communicate, and the entrance gate is in a tight area with a lot of traffic from tourist buses and the "little train," so panic rapidly set in for me. We were able to enter by drafting a vehicle ahead of us, but I wouldn't recommend this practice since those bollards can do a lot of damage to a vehicle when they raise. Later attempts to enter were simple when I specifically said there was a garage at the address we were staying at.

Un très bel appartement, fonctionnel et espacé. Le parking intérieur est un gros point positif, et les lits sont confortables. Logement à recommander !
Das Appartement ist wunderschön, mit viel Raum und einer umwerfenden Aussicht auf das Meer und die Sonnenuntergänge vom Wohnzimmer aus. Beide Schlafzimmer haben ein eigenes Badezimmer (ohne WC), etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig waren die Vorhänge anstelle von Türen bei den Schlaf- und Badezimmern. Schränke und Ablageflächen in den Schlafzimmern waren genügend vorhanden. In der Küche war das einzige Manko, dass der Abzug nicht nach aussen ging sondern die Luft nur umgewälzt hat. Wenn man kocht, riecht man dies im Wohnzimmer. Wir würden auch empfehlen, Messer mitzunehmen. Es gab dort keine. Die Wohnung ist aber wirklich wunderschön und wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt und unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Die Lage in der Altstadt von Cannes ist toll, man ist sehr schnell am Meer, im Marché Forville, und bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Cannes. Auch Restaurants sind viele und schnell erreichbar. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen!
